Coaches are expected to display behaviour consistent with that of South Adelaide Basketball Club’s policies (which can be found on the club's website at https://www.southadelaidebasketball.com.au/about/policies). Details of coaching requirements are outlined on the BSA website - https://basketballsa.com.au/coach-registration/ I agree to complete the coach registration process including Working with Children Check, Play by the Rules online training and a signed Code of Ethics prior to the commencement of coaching at South Adelaide Basketball Club for the 2023/24 Season.

Yes I agree however I do not hold a current Working with Children Check although I am willing to apply for one.

I understand that by nominating for a Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 or Division 4 coaching position for Junior District Age Groups U12 and above, I will be required to attend the Eltham Tournament in January (around the Australia Day Public Holiday).*

I understand that by nominating for a Under 10 team (all Divisions) or U12-U18 Division 3 - Division 6 coaching position, I may be required to be available for the South City Challenge to be held locally in the July School Holidays.*

I understand that by nominating for a Division 1 or Division 2 coaching position, I will be required to be available to coach during the BSA Junior State Championships and (Div 1 Only) if invited BV National June Classic.*

I understand that by nominating for a position with an Under 14 Division 1 team I will be required to attend if invited, the BA Australian Club Championships and assist with planning and fundraising activities for this event.*

South Adelaide Basketball Club is required to "interview" applicants under the Basketball Australia National Integrity Framework. Age Group (Division 1) coaches will be required to attend a face to face interview. Other applicants may have their interviews done via Zoom or over the phone as necessary. Do you understand you will be required to be available for an interview prior to appointment.*
