Current information about South Adelaide Basketball Club registration fees, available discounts, payment arrangements and refund rules for the 2026/27 season.

2026/27 Fees

South Adelaide Basketball Club sets registration and participation fees annually. The current fees for the 2026/27 season are shown below.

Registration, financial eligibility and payment requirements are governed by PRO-08 Registration, Fees and Player Clearances Procedure.

Payment Plans and Financial Hardship

Families experiencing difficulty meeting registration fees are encouraged to contact the General Manager as early as possible to discuss an approved payment arrangement.

Players must remain financial or comply with an approved payment arrangement to remain eligible to participate, in accordance with PRO-08.

Discounts and Fee Waivers

Multiple Junior District Players

Where a family has more than one eligible child registered in the Junior District program, the second and subsequent eligible children receive a $50 discount per season.This discount applies to South Adelaide Junior District players U10-U18 and does not apply to SDJBL Domestic registrations.

Junior District Head Coach Fee Waiver

An appointed Head Coach of a Junior District team may nominate one eligible child to receive the approved Club registration fee waiver.

Assistant Coaches are not eligible for this waiver.
Domestic/SDJBL coaching appointments do not qualify for the Junior District Head Coach fee waiver.
A Club-issued registration code is required where applicable.

State Representation Fee Waiver

Eligible South Adelaide players selected for approved state representation may qualify for a Club fee waiver under POL-06 State Representation Fee Waiver Policy.

Eligibility, the waiver period, the 24-month Club commitment and any repayment requirements are governed by POL-06.

Fill-in Player Fees

SDJBL Domestic players filling in for District competition:

Up to 3 games - no additional Club fee
4-7 games - $50
8 or more games - half-season District fee

Refunds

Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances including medical withdrawal or relocation. Refunds are administered in accordance with PRO-08 and the current annual fee arrangements.

Medical / Injury Withdrawal

Refund requests for medical or injury-related withdrawal must be supported by appropriate medical documentation.

For Junior District players:

Where the player has participated in less than 40% of scheduled games, an injury-related refund may be considered.
Where the player has participated in 40% or more of scheduled games, no injury refund will ordinarily apply.
Refunds apply only to the eligible South Adelaide Club registration component.
Basketball SA/Basketball Australia charges, uniforms and other non-refundable costs are excluded.

Relocation

A refund may be considered where a family permanently relocates to a residence outside a 40 km zone from Marion Stadium during the season.
The Club may require evidence of relocation. Applications should be submitted to the General Manager at gm@southadelaidebasketball.com.au.
