SDJBL Registration & Fees
Player Registration Fees
South SDJBL Players | U8 to U21
$235 per player
This applies to players registering to play in a South Adelaide SDJBL team.
Current South Adelaide District players and SDJBL team coaches
Please do not use the standard registration link. Email admin@southadelaidebasketball.com.au and we will provide you with the correct registration link.
External Players | U8 to U21
Players participating in an external SDJBL team do not pay the South Adelaide player registration fee directly. Teams will be invoiced separately.
Additional Fees
In addition to the player registration fee, the following charges apply:
Game Day Fees | $140 per player, per season
Game day fees are paid upfront at the beginning of each season.
South Adelaide Basketball Volunteer Levy | $30
The Volunteer Levy supports the delivery of our competitions and club programs.

Basketball SA Annual Affiliation Fee | $25.75 (Subject ot change without notice by Basketball SA)
Basketball Australia Levy | $5.00
These fees are charged through Basketball Connect and provide Basketball SA affiliation and insurance coverage for 12 months from the date of payment.
Basketball SA and Basketball Australia fees are subject to change.
Registration Process
There are two registrations required for SDJBL players.
1. South Adelaide Registration
Register with South Adelaide so we can allocate players to teams and manage the SDJBL competition.
Our registration system is also used for team allocations and game day administration.
2. Basketball Connect Registration
Once teams have been finalised, the SDJBL Competitions Manager will send players a Basketball Connect registration link.
This registration completes your Basketball SA affiliation and insurance requirements for the following 12 months.
Important for District Players and Coaches
If you are:
- a current South Adelaide District player, or
- an SDJBL team coach
please email admin@southadelaidebasketball.com.au before registering so we can provide you with the correct registration link and avoid duplicate registrations or fees.
