On Saturday 4 July, South Adelaide Basketball Club will host a special Cancer Fundraising Round when our NBL1 women’s and men’s teams take on Southern Tigers.
Cancer touches almost every family in some way. Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, and Cancer Council supports people across every stage of the cancer journey, from prevention and research through to treatment and support.
For this game, South Adelaide and Southern Tigers are coming together to show our support, with both clubs’ NBL1 women’s and men’s teams wearing pink socks on court.
We are raising funds for Cancer Council SA to help support cancer research, prevention programs and vital services for people and families affected by cancer.
