Join South Adelaide Basketball’s SDJBL Competition

South Adelaide Basketball invites all players, returning and new, to register for the 2026/27 SDJBL Summer Season. Open to boys and girls from Under 8s to Under 21s, this is a great way to build confidence, improve skills, enjoy weekend basketball, and stay connected to our local community.

Summer 2026/27 tips off October 24th, so now is the time to lock in your spot.

Which Age Group Should I Register My Child For?

Please use your child’s year of birth to select the correct age group:

2027 Age Groups

Please register your child based on their year of birth:

• Under 8 Boys: Born in 2020 or 2021

• Under 10 Boys and Girls: Born in 2018 or 2019

• Under 12 Boys and Girls: Born in 2016 or 2017

• Under 14 Boys and Girls: Born in 2014 or 2015

• Under 16 Boys and Girls: Born in 2012 or 2013

• Under 18 Boys and Girls: Born in 2010 or 2011

• Under 21 Boys and Girls: Born in 2007, 2008 or 2009

We encourage families to register early so we can begin planning teams for the new season.

Please make sure you select the correct age group when completing your registration.

How to Register

✅ Returning Players 
If you have been registered and playing for South SDJBL recently, use the registeration on this page to log into your membership account via the “Already a Member?” section and complete your registration.

✅ New Players or Players Not Currently Registered
If you are new to South Adelaide domestic basketball, you will need to create a membership account first via: https://www.southadelaidebasketball.com.au/registration

Once your account is created, you can register for the season.

🔹You are not considered registered until the registration form is complete and payment has been processed.

🔹 Each player must be registered individually to ensure all details and payments are correctly processed.

🔹 Please enter the player’s name (not the parent’s name) when registering.

✅ Registering Multiple Children Under One Parent Profile
If you are registering more than one child, whether you are new to South Adelaide domestic or have registered in a previous season, please follow the step-by-step guide.

Fees and Payment

🔹 Total cost for South: $405 per player + $35.10 (subject to change) to BSA,

• $235 player registration fee (including GST) 

• SABC volunteer levy of $30. 
  

• $140 full season game fees

• Basketball SA affiliation fee: $35.10 (subject to change), paid directly to Basketball SA. This covers
  insurance and Basketball Australia membership for 12 months. 
  
• Spectators attend games free of charge.
