Free Scoring and Shot Clock Sessions for District Families
Feel more confident at the scorebench with two free classroom sessions delivered by Basketball SA.
Whether you’re new to scoring or would like a refresher, we invite our District parents and carers to join us to learn the skills needed to support their team on game day.
The sessions run back to back and will take place entirely in the classroom, with opportunities to ask questions throughout.
Session 1: Scoring, game clock and basketball rules Learn how to use the scoring iPad and game clock, and build your understanding of general basketball rules. Allow approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
Session 2: Shot clock Learn the rules and responsibilities of operating the shot clock. Allow approximately one hour.
