Payment and Merchant Fees:
All payments made by credit card or debit card may incur a merchant processing fee. This fee will be clearly displayed on the invoice at the time of purchase, prior to payment confirmation.
Event Postponement, Cancellation, and Refunds:
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, including but not limited to pandemics, extreme weather, or venue unavailability, the club reserves the right to postpone, cancel, or reschedule events. Participants will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable.
Refunds will be provided in accordance with the club’s refund policy. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance or change of mind, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Participant Expectations and Conduct:
All participants, spectators, and attendees are expected to behave respectfully and in line with the club’s values at all times. Any behaviour that breaches the club’s code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the event without refund.
Health and Safety Obligations:
The safety of all participants, coaches, officials, and spectators is a priority. All attendees must follow any safety instructions, venue requirements, and applicable health guidelines. The club reserves the right to refuse participation where safety requirements are not met.
Photography and Media Consent:
By attending or participating in club events, you consent to the use of photographs and video footage for promotional and marketing purposes, unless you advise the club otherwise in writing.
Assumption of Risk:
Participation in basketball activities involves inherent risks. By registering for and attending events, participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
Program and Schedule Changes:
The club reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event schedules, venues, or programming where required.

As a community-based amateur sporting organisation, the club is committed to being open and inclusive, promoting participation in basketball, and operating on a not-for-profit basis for the benefit of the community.
