South Adelaide secures management rights for new Marion Stadium
South Adelaide Basketball is proud to announce a major milestone for our club and community. At the recent City of Marion Council meeting, our business case was approved, granting us the management rights to the proposed new Marion Stadium.
This achievement is the result of the tireless work of President June McKenzie, General Manager Simon Crowden, and consultant Mike Sweeney of Sweeney Accounting, supported by our committee and members. It represents a significant step forward in creating a true home for basketball in the South.
While the project now moves into the tender process and awaits final costings, this decision provides a strong foundation for the future of our club and the wider basketball community.
